Bihar CM Oath Ceremony Live Updates and News: As preparations intensify for the formation of Bihar’s new government, indications suggest that 18 ministers, including two deputy chief ministers, will be sworn in alongside Nitish Kumar on Thursday, according to a BJP leader aware of the developments.
As per the leader, the proposed Cabinet structure includes six ministers, each from the BJP and JD(U), while three will come from the other alliance partners — LJP (RV), HAM-S, and RLM.
Though the final list is awaited, reports indicate a long lineup of JD(U) leaders who may find a place in the new Cabinet. These include Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Shrawan Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Lesi Singh, Sheila Mandal, Madan Sahni, Ratnesh Sada, Mohammad Zama Khan, Jayant Raj, Umesh Singh Kushwaha, Ashok Chowdhary, and others such as Rahul Kumar Singh, Sudhanshu Shekhar, Kaladhar Prasad Mandal, and Panna Lal Singh Patel.
Sources within the BJP say most ministers from the outgoing Cabinet are likely to stay on, with the party planning to introduce three new faces. Those expected to continue include Samrat Choudhary, Prem Kumar, Mangal Pandey, Vijay Kumar Sinha, Nitish Mishra, Renu Devi, Jibesh Kumar, Neeraj Kumar Singh, Janak Ram, Hari Sahni, Kedar Prasad Gupta, Surendra Mehta, Santosh Kumar Singh, Sunil Kumar, and Motil Lal Prasad.
