When the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 auctions begin in earnest on Tuesday at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, all eyes will be on the 333 players up for bid as the 10 teams try to bolster their rosters ahead of the new season.

It would be intriguing to observe who the 2022 winners choose to purchase during the auction, given the recent national uproar over Hardik Pandya’s move from Gujarat Titans to Mumbai Indians and his subsequent promotion to captain. The Titans will have a busy auction window with players like Shardul Thakur and Rachin Ravindra on their radar.

Regarding the money left, the Titans are in the lead with Rs 38.15 crores, Sunrisers Hyderabad is second with Rs 34 crores, and Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders are third and fourth respectively with Rs 32.7 crores and Rs 31.4 crores. Along with the Mumbai Indians (Rs 17.75 crore) and Rajasthan Royals (Rs 14.5 crore), the Lucknow Super Giants have the lowest available purse, at Rs 13.15 crore.
