The Phrasal Fragrance of The Phrasal King Choudhary

The world has produced a galaxy of prominent poets who have left a great impact in course of time on the existing generations and the generations next to them. Very few poets have been found innovative, creative and highly descriptive. Most of them abide by the literary tradition of some literary trends and movements so that they can get their berth in the popular psyche of the contemporary creative milieu. Spenser is for English poetry what Choudhary is for Indian English poetry. Creativity runs throughout his poetic veins. His constant romance with words, styles and capital idea that he puts throughout his poetic groves makes him Arbindonean in the poetic world of India. His Arbindonean stanza is a new concept of English literature that runs like wild fire the popular psyche of poetic world. The distinctive poetic features- abundance of phrasal, proverbial and mythical terminology, sensational capital idea, Arbindonean racy style of versification, Arbindonean sonnets, sensuous painting, uses of various figures of speech, poetic doctrines, and poetic multiplicity-all these things bloomed altogether and crowned him with a number of literary crowns in Indian English poetry. The Arbindonean Racy Style of Versification, Indianised Version of Arbindonean Sonnets and The Phrasal Movement in Indian English Poetry that thrill not only the verse-suitors for its blooming territory but also earn the crown of The Phrasal King in English Poetry in general and Indian English Poetry in particular.
As a suitor of the poetic world Choudhary plays with the words, styles, proverbs, techniques and other poetic tools as if they were the erogenous zones of his beloved. The abundance of phrasal, proverbial, mythical, pictorial, explored and colloquial words and racy style of versification made him Arbindonean in the ideal world of poetry. Mythical characters flourish from one poetry book to another with great poetic colour and fervour. Mary, Helen, Adonis, Isabella, Demeter, Cynthia, Saturn ,Jove ,Hyperion ,Thalia ,Lethe ,Cupid and several others bloom side by side with their Indian counterparts Ram, Sita, Govind ,Radha, Meera ,Dadhichi, Shakuntala,Sabri,Laila,Majnu,Urvasi and many more in his most sensuous book Love.
enser,Shakespeare,Milton and Choudhary are known for Spenserian sonnets, Shakespearean sonnets, Miltonic sonnets and Arbindonean sonnets in the history of English literature. As a sonneteer Arbind Kumar Choudhary experiments and explores Indianized version of sonnets rather than Spenserean or Shakespearean or Miltonic sonnets. All sonnets are wreathed artistically with seven rhymed couplets. Words are used from all genres. The poet peeps not only in to the writings of Indian stalwarts, but also gives a new shape for the critics ,the researchers and the poets. The poet has versified all these sonnets on the guiding Indian English writers of all genres without jaundiced eyes. Such a great book is rarely versified in the contemporary age.
The scholars can smell the fragrance of his racy style called Arbindonean in English literature as is seen in this interview with. The ascending order of the alphabets in a stanza is my explored poetic style.
Here is a stanza that is quoted from Melody(2009):The luxury of misery/Is the nunnery/
For the osculatory/On the periphery of paltry. (2009:8)/
One can find the sequence of the alphabets-l(luxury), m(misery),n(nunnery),o(osculatory)and p(periphery)in a single quatrain besides the rhymed form and phrasal words.
The uses of various types of phrases he borrows from various other sources of lives sing the song in favour of this Phrasal King in Indian English literature. The phrasal quatrains, phrasal couplets and phrasal passages are the explorations of this Phrasal King in the contemporary history of Indian English poetry. The phrasal passages of Indian English verses become a boon companion for all those muse lovers who wish to have a draught of various forms of versifications in general and the phrasal stanzas in particular for the phrasal whirlwind across the globe. He is no doubt a phrasal dictionary in himself because no where can we get such a large number of phrases as is used by him. The pigmented poetic passage that possesses the phrasal words wreathed artistically just like the parts of the body purifies the poetic passage with the creation of the Phrasal Movement on this culturally prosperous soil of milk and honey. The thought provoking phrasal quatrain that consists three phrasal words fires the poetic passion for the creation of the Phrasal Movement in English poetry in general and Indian English poetry in particular. The phrasal fragrance of his verses that is a saving grace over the face of the disgrace strikes the verse-suitors for the territory of the Phrasal Poetry in Indian English literature. The phrasal pinnacle that puts the peeping poets in the phrasal tavern of English poetry in India pampers the poetic people for the phrasal perfection across the poetic scenario in and outside India. The compound new and explored words, imaginative poetic approach, celestial wisdom, spiritual capital idea and uses of various figures of speech justify the title of bard in Indian English poetry. The proverbial quatrains, proverbial couplets and proverbial passages persuade a group of the contemporary poets to honor him with the crown of the Proverbial Samarat in Indian English poetry.
Love is the spiritual feeling of life that ever glitters like twinkling stars in the sky of life . Loveless life is worse than curse.Love is the fragrance of life that blooms only in perfect psyche. Those who are in love are the happiest creatures of this earth. To him Love is the fragrance of life that blooms only in perfect psyche. The swelling mango, creamy breast, naked thinking heart, snakish braid, brede bride, carroty colour, lily face, succulent cunt, glittering eyes and many others send the sensuous lovers in the seventh heaven. He is not only a poet of sex but love also because the capital idea oflove lies in his poems.
It is he who propounds his poetic philosophy of life, love, nature and poetry in Melody,Love,Nature and The Poet respectively in Indian writing in English.Majuli is his Down At Puri in which he cages a fantastic picture of Majuliscape in English poetry. His Melody is a catalyst for those living in oblivion. The poetic philosophy he propounds, the mythical characters he amalgamates, the essence of love he exhumes for the call of nature, and the cultural sanctity he vomits throughout his verses makes him one of the leading literary luminaries of the contemporary poetic meadows.
