POEM: My Encounter with Achillies – A Dream

Hearing that music, I ran to the cliff,
Drawn by the enchanting melody,
my heart was stiff.
Bending on the lyre, fingers were playing,
Each note, like a bird, gracefully swaying.
Lost in the music, as if in a trance,
he rocks, my Achilles’s unmatched grace.
He hasn’t looked up, not even once,
Lost in his own world, he continues to dance.
The music, like a river, flows in my veins,
Washing away all my worries and pains.
As I reach the cliff, the music grows louder,
Each strum, each chord, like a magical power.
I stand in awe, as the musician plays on,
His fingers moving swiftly, like a swan.
For in this moment, I am free,
Lost in the music, just him and me.
And as the last note fades away
I open my eyes, but he’s gone, I can’t stay.
