Preity Zinta starts filming for ‘Lahore 1947’

Preity Zinta is set to make her Bollywood comeback in the film ‘Lahore 1947’ alongside Sunny Deol, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. This marks a significant moment for Preity as she returns to the screen after a break. She shared behind-the-scenes photos on social media, giving fans a glimpse into the film’s production.

In one photo with the clapperboard, Preity captioned it with “On set for Lahore 1947.” Another image showed her sharing a moment with director Rajkumar Santoshi, hinting at their camaraderie.

Fans have expressed excitement about Preity’s return, flooding social media with joyous messages and anticipation. They eagerly await her comeback, calling her the “queen” of Bollywood and expressing eagerness to see her on screen again.

‘Lahore 1947’, produced by Aamir Khan’s banner, is a significant collaboration between Sunny Deol and Aamir Khan’s Productions. The film, announced last October, has garnered attention for its star-studded cast and promising storyline.

Adding to the excitement, veteran actor Shabana Azmi and Ali Fazal have joined the cast in pivotal roles. The movie will also feature Sunny Deol sharing screen space with his elder son Karan Deol.
