New trailer of Chris Pratt, Samuel Jackson’s ‘The Garfield Movie’ unveiled

The creators of the upcoming animated film ‘The Garfield Movie’ have released a new trailer for the highly anticipated feature. Hollywood actor Chris Pratt took to Instagram to share the trailer, expressing his pride in voicing the iconic comic character. He captioned the post, “Incredibly honored to lend my voice to the most widely circulated comic character in history. See Garfield this Memorial Day Weekend!!”

Garfield, the famous indoor cat known for his disdain for Mondays and love of lasagna, embarks on an unexpected outdoor adventure after reuniting with his long-lost father, Vic, a scruffy street cat. Together with his canine companion Odie, they find themselves caught up in a comical and high-stakes heist, according to a statement from the film’s PR release.

Following the release of the trailer, fans and friends flooded the comment section with excitement. One fan commented, “This is going to be so cute and funny,” while another expressed, “EXCITED!!!”

In the film, Garfield is voiced by Chris Pratt, while Vic is voiced by actor Samuel L. Jackson. Directed by Mark Dindal, the movie also stars Hannah Waddingham, Ving Rhames, Nicholas Hoult, Cecily Strong, Harvey Guillen, Brett Goldstein, and Bowen Yang.

‘The Garfield Movie’ is scheduled to hit theaters on May 24, 2024.
