Sourav Ganguly urges fans not to miss sports film ‘Maidaan’

Former cricket captain Sourav Ganguly, popularly known as Dada, joined the applause of praise for the recently released sports film “Maidaan,” which stars Ajay Devgn. Ganguly, as well as other Bollywood celebs, encouraged people to see the movie in theaters by posting positive comments about it on social media.

“Don’t miss out on the cinematic experience of #Maidaan, a captivating portrayal of India’s legendary football coach, Syed Abdul Rahim, and the golden era of Indian football. Witness the iconic Indian football stars brought back to life on the big screen in this must-watch Indian sports film (sic).” Sourav Ganguly, posted the review on his X account.

Fans responded favourably to Ganguly’s support of the movie since he encouraged people to see the legendary Indian football players revived on the big screen in this must-see Indian sports film.

Celebrities including as Varun Dhawan, Shahid Kapoor, and Karan Johar expressed their appreciation for ‘Maidaan’ on their Instagram Stories, reflecting Ganguly’s thoughts.

Shahid Kapoor encouraged his fans to see the movie for themselves, praising its superb acting and production values. ‘Maidaan’ director Karan Johar said he was looking forward to it, praising Ajay Devgn’s outstanding performance as Syed Abdul Rahim. After wrapping filming for his own project, Varun Dhawan said how excited he was to see “Maidaan,” praising the actors and the suspenseful ending in particular.

“Maidaan,” directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, tells the inspirational tale of Syed Abdul Rahim’s constant dedication to football, which gave India great pride. Ajay Devgn gives an outstanding performance in the title role with the help of a strong cast that includes Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh.

The movie’s portrayal of Syed Abdul Rahim’s outstanding achievements and India’s football heritage earned a widespread praise. Star-studded reviews from Bollywood luminaries and endorsements from cricket legends like Sourav Ganguly suggest that ‘Maidaan’ will wow fans with its heartfelt story and outstanding performances.
