Long break ends: Kangana Ranaut gears up for her next action film

Actress Kangana Ranaut started working out again on Tuesday after a two-year break. The “Queen” actor stopped working out due to her role in ‘Emergency’.

After taking a two-year vacation from her exercise routine to portray Mrs Gandhi, Kangana posted a workout video to Instagram with the description, “After a two-year break from my exercise routine to play Mrs Gandhi, now I am back to my fitness routine, looking forward to a great transformation for an upcoming action film.”

Kangana may be seen working out vigorously in the video. She put on a black workout uniform and made a bun in her hair.

Kangana has started making plans for her upcoming movie.

Fans and friends immediately swamped the comment area with red hearts and fire emoticons when she released the video.

Actor Anupam Kher commented, “Aap to dara rahe ho ji. Jai Ho! “

A user wrote, “This girl is on fire.”

Talking about her work front, Kangana’s next is ‘Emergency’ which marks her first solo directorial film.

The film revolves around the life of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and features Kangana in the titular role of the late politician.

Apart from Kangana, the film stars Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, Vishak Nair, and Shreyas Talpade in prominent roles.

She will also be seen in ‘Tejas’ in which she will be seen portraying the role of an Indian Air Force pilot. The official release date of the film is still awaited.
