Amitabh Bachchan reminisced about his days of shooting action sequences, recalling a time when he had to jump off a 30-foot cliff without any safety harness. The legendary actor, known for his roles in over 200 films, including iconic action movies like ‘Zanjeer’, ‘Sholay’, ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, and ‘Don’, took to Instagram to share a throwback picture from one of his movies.
The image shows him leaping off the cliff, and in his caption, he mentioned the risky nature of the stunt, highlighting the absence of modern filmmaking techniques like face replacement and visual effects. He wrote, “Taking off from a 30-foot cliff for an action sequence .. no harness, no face replacement, no VFX .. and landing .. err .. on mattresses .. if you were lucky. Those were the days my friend.”
Fans quickly filled the comment section with admiration and nostalgia. One user expressed confidence in Bachchan’s ability to still perform such stunts, while actor Shilpa Shirodkar Ranjit praised him as the best forever.
On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in Vikas Bahl’s film ‘Ganapath’, featuring Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon. His upcoming projects include the sci-fi action movie ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, which stars Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in key roles. He is also set to appear in a courtroom drama film titled ‘Section 84’.
