Home Minister Amit Shah met with renowned singer Asha Bhosle on Wednesday to unveil her photobiography titled ‘Best of Asha’. The book, conceptualized and initiated by Mumbai BJP president and MLA Ashish Shelar, features photographs of the singer captured by ace photographer Gautam Rajadhyaksha and is published by Valuable Group.
The unveiling took place at Sahyadri Guest House in Mumbai, where Shah, who was visiting the city, released the book. Also present at the event were Ashish Shelar and his wife Pratima Shelar, as well as representatives from Valuable Group and Jeevan Gani, along with designer Nutan Ajgaonkar, who crafted the book.
During the meeting, Shah and Asha Bhosle engaged in conversation and posed with the ‘Best of Asha’ book. Asha Bhosle is celebrated as one of the most successful singers in Hindi cinema, with a career spanning over eight decades. She has recorded songs in various Indian languages and has been honored with numerous awards, including the Dadasaheb Phalke Award and the Padma Vibhushan, India’s second-highest civilian honor, in 2008.
