Abhishek Bachchan Amazed by Big B’s ‘Ashwatthama’ Teaser!

Amitabh Bachchan’s appearance in the fascinating teaser for ‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ left actor Abhishek Bachchan pleased.

The trailer for Amitabh’s appearance in the sci-fi dystopian thriller was released by the makers on Sunday during the exciting Indian Premier League (IPL) game between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).

Big B made his appearance known in cozy, earthy tones at the beginning of the 21-second teaser. Seated in a cave, he was praying before a Shiva linga. Bandages were all over him.

A small child can also be seen asking Big B, ‘Kya tum bhagwan ho, kya tum marr nahi sakte? Tum Bhagwan ho? Kaun ho Tum?

In response, his character replied, “Dwapar yug se Dash avatar ki pratiksha kar raha hoon main, Dronacharya ka putra Ashwatthama.” (I have been waiting for the Dasavatar since the Dwapar Yug.)

Abhishek, who is his father’s biggest fan, posted a first look of the movie on X and commented, “THE BOSS!!!!”

Big B shared the new poster for the movie with X before the teaser was released, stating, “It’s been an experience for me like no other…”

The sci-fi film is directed by Nag Ashwin, who is well-known for his roles in films like Mahanati and Yevvade Subramanyam.
The movie is billed as a futuristic sci-fi spectacle with mythological inspirations.
The ‘Kalki’ world also includes Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani.

Following its ground-breaking debut at San Diego Comic-Con the previous year, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ received widespread praise from all over the world.
