Aamir Khan’s son Junaid begins shooting for third film

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan’s son Junaid is yet to step into the world of acting, but his modest demeanor has already attracted attention.

Junaid has consistently greeted paparazzi in Mumbai with a smile and been seen traveling on public transport, showcasing his down-to-earth nature in recent media images and videos. Presently, Junaid is busy with work, having reportedly begun shooting for his third film, according to a source close to the emerging actor.

“Junaid Khan, who recently wrapped up a 58-day film schedule for his second project, has wasted no time and has already commenced preparations for his third film today, and his dedication to his craft is truly commendable,” the source said.

Information regarding Junaid’s second and third projects has not been officially disclosed. Movie enthusiasts are only aware that Junaid’s second project also stars Sai Pallavi.

Junaid’s debut project, ‘Maharaj,’ was announced last year. The film also stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Sharvari, and Shalini Pandey alongside him. It is directed by Siddharth P Malhotra, whose previous work includes ‘Hichki.’

The logline of the film describes ‘Maharaj’ as an inspiring David vs Goliath tale, inspired by true events. Set in the 1800s, it follows the story of a common man, a journalist by trade, who confronts a revered figure in society often hailed as a savior for the masses. Armed with courage and his pen, the intrepid reporter challenges the seemingly flawless image of this community leader, aiming to unearth a series of events that rock the societal norms to their core.

The period drama serves as a tribute to humanity’s resilience in the pursuit of truth and justice, even at great personal cost, as stated in the press release from the film’s PR team. It highlights the power of one individual’s determination to enact positive social transformation, overcoming adversity and holding those in authority accountable for their actions. ‘Maharaj’ is set to premiere on OTT platforms.
