Sonu Sood Drops Teaser Update For ‘Fateh’

After offering a sneak peek into the ‘Fateh’ universe with a teaser, the creators are sparing no effort to sustain the anticipation. Actor Sonu Sood teased his followers on Monday with a fresh update. Sharing behind-the-scenes images from the editing room, Sonu Sood took to Instagram to engage his fans.

Sharing the post, the actor wrote, “F A T E H. Be ready to get blown away. Work in progress.”

Immediately after posting, fans inundated the comment section with expressions of excitement. The makers recently unveiled the film’s teaser. Sonu shared the teaser clip on his official X handle.

The teaser opens with the declaration, ‘Never underestimate a nobody.’ It transitions to a voiceover featuring Sonu Sood engaged in a conversation with another person, where he corrects that he eliminated 50 people on March 19, not 40. “You’ll never find those ten bodies,” he said and also added, “Bhagvaan unki atma ko shanti de”

Sood while sharing the teaser wrote on X, “AA RAHA HOON..Action speaks louder than words. #Fateh! Brace yourselves for the biggest action-packed thriller!”

‘Fateh’ draws inspiration from real-life cases of cybercrime witnessed by individuals during the Covid-19 pandemic. Notable figures from Hollywood, including the director of photography, research team, and action choreographers, have been enlisted for this project.

Sood disclosed that alongside his humanitarian endeavors, there was a downside – instances of fraudsters exploiting his name to deceive people.

“The idea for ‘Fateh’ came into my mind when I was helping people and came to know that many people were being fooled and cheated in my name. They were given false loans, promises to meet me or to get any sort of help from my team during a pandemic,” Sood said in an interview with ANI.

The actor expressed concern upon discovering that a significant number of individuals were falling victim to scams perpetrated by impostors using his identity to deceive them. He shared that he was alerted to cases where people, particularly those in remote regions, were primarily duped through phishing tactics.

“It was then I realized that this cybercrime is a big issue in our country. It is very important to take action on it. Thus the journey of ‘Fateh’, the film I am doing started from this experience,” said the actor.

The movie also features Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead role. ‘Fateh’ is slated for release this year, marking Sonu’s directorial debut. It is co-produced by Zee Studios and Shakti Sagar Productions.
