The Supreme Court Collegium bench headed by Chief Justice of India D.Y. Chandrachud has recommended for the transfer of Justice Manoj Bajaj from the Punjab and Haryana High Court to the Allahabad High Court.
The Supreme Court Collegium stated and has proposed the transfer of Mr. Justice Manoj Bajaj, Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court to the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad for the better of administrative of justice on 05.07.2023.
Further, the Supreme Court Collegium stated that the Chief Justices of the Punjab and Haryana High Court and High Court of Judicature at Allahabad whose opinion was being sought in terms of the Memorandum of Procedure have also conveyed their no objection to the proposed transfer made of Justice Manoj Bajaj.
Therefore, it has been requested by the Justice Bajaj, through the representation for continuing the functioning at the Punjab And Haryana High Court.
The Supreme Court Collegium stated that it does not find any merit in the request made by him. It has also been resolved by the Supreme Court Collegium to reiterate the recommendation dated 05.07.2023 for transferring Mr. Justice Manoj Bajaj to the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad.
