Justice Lalitha Kanneganti Sworn In As The Judge Of Karnataka High Court

Justice Lalitha Kanneganti sworn in as the Judge of Karnataka High Court, following the transfer of her from the Telangana High Court.
The oath of office was administered by the Chief Justice Prasanna B Varale.
The swearing in ceremony was being followed by the welcome address by Vishalaraghu H L, Chairman of the Karnataka State Bar Council.
It has been stated by Justice Lalitha Kanneganti in her reply that the State of Karnataka being the a perfect blend of globalisation with the existing traditional virtues and it being the land of sheer diversity be it culture, heritage or nature. Therefore, Karnataka has the rich history of the participation of women’s in both social and politically driven movements, right from the freedom movement, women have played a pivotal role.
Further, it has also been stated by her that the State is the home to Hon’ble Justice B V Nagarathna, the Judge of Supreme Court who would be the first woman Chief Justice of India and it gives immense pleasure to be part of such a glorious institution.
Justice Lalitha Kanneganti also remarked that the consumer of justice wants unpolluted, expeditious and inexpensive justice. It has been stated by her that eh being very confident that with able assistance from the bar I will be able to discharge my duties in an effective manner.
Justice Lalitha Kanneganti was enrolled as an Advocate in the year 1994 and practiced in all areas of law. She was also the Standing Counsel for Agriculture Market Committees; English & Foreign Languages University, Endowments; Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams; Sri Venkateswara Vedic University, Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences, SVIMS and the Sanskrit University, Tirupati.
On May 02, 2020, Justice Lalitha Kanneganti assumed the charge as the permanent judge of Andhra Pradesh High Court and was being transferred to the Telangana High Court on 15.09.2021.
