The Jharkhand High Court Advocates Association in the ceremony held at the Advocate Hall and has extended the financial assistance to the families of three advocates.
The esteemed dignitaries who are present at the event which includes Chief Justice Sanjaya Kumar Mishra, Justice S. Chandrashekhar, and the Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad, who jointly presented the cheques to the beneficiary families, who formally inaugurated the Swanidhi Kalyan Yojana.
The said scheme initiated by the association aims to provide support to advocates and the family of them. Thus, each of the family received the generous assistance amount of Rs 7.5 lakh as the part of this welfare program. Mr. Naveen Kumar, the General Secretary of the Advocate Association, who shared insights into thescheme’s funding mechanism.
Therefore, the Advocates who are willingly to contribute an amount of Rs 200 with each Vakalatnama, and these contributions have been accumulating in the scheme since 14.11.2022.
However, the scheme has amassed approximately Rs 1 crore, wherein it demonstrated the commitment and solidarity of the legal community in supporting their fellow advocates and their families during challenging times.
