Gujarat Case Sends Kajal Hindustani To 14-Day Judicial Custody: Ram Navami Hate Speech Case

The Gujarat High Court in the case observed wherein Right-wing activist Kajal Hindusthani was sent to 14 Day Judicial Custody on Sunday by a Court in Una after she was being arrested by the Gujarat Police (wherein following the surrender of her) in connection with the Hate Speech case. Therefore, the speech of Kajal on the occasion of Ram Navami which allegedly caused a communal clash in Una on April 1, 2023.
However, after she was being arrested, she was also being produced before the court in Una wherein the bail plea moved by her was rejected and has also sent her to 14-day judicial custody as the Gujarat Police in the case which did not seek her police remand.
Further, an FIR was lodged on April 2 wherein naming her under the Indian Penal Code, 1860 as stated under section 153 (for wantonly giving provocation with intent to cause riot) and section 295 A (the deliberate or malicious act intending to outrage religious feelings).
In the present case, she was being accused of delivering a provocative speech targeting the people of the Muslim Community speech in a Vishwa Hindu Parishad, VIP event in Una on March 20 wherein it was being witnessed by the local BJP MLA KC Rathod. Thus, the court while following the event, the communal clash took place in the city wherein it is alleged that stone pelting at various places also took place.
In the case the FIR was lodged against Kajal wherein it is alleged that Kajal hurt the religious sentiments of women and also the men of the Muslim society and that her speech was being delivered for the purpose of spreading intentional agitation which being between the Hindu people and the Muslim people.
In the said case, Kajal, who is also being known for her fiery speeches, wherein identifying herself as an entrepreneur, the research analyst, the debater, the social activist, and the nationalist.
