The Bar Council Of India in the case observed and has directed the State Bar Council of Rajasthan for taking appropriate measures to ensure that the strike or boycott of several courts in the state due to the murder of an Advocate who was being called off before March 9.
It was also being asked by the State Bar Council for forwarding a report by evening of March 08.
Therefore, the Bar Council Of India stated that the strike and boycott of several courts in Rajasthan has been continuing from the last several days due to the brutal murder of an Advocate who being in broad daylight. It has also been requested by the Bar Council Of India that the Rajasthan Chief Minister to expedite the matter for passing of the proposed Act for the protection of advocates and for the families of Advocates.
In its statement, it has been stated by the BCI that realizing the need for effective law for the protection of the lives and properties of the advocates and their family members, wherein it has already been submitted the Draft of Advocates Protection Law to the Union Ministry Of
Law in 2021
The BCI stated that it will send a reminder wherein requesting the Union Minister of Law and Justice for taking of an early decision with this regard.
