Alwar Courts Finds Four Guilty, Get 7-Year Jail Term Each; One Accused Acquitted: Rakhbar Khan Lynching Case 2018

The Rajasthan’s Alwar District Court in the case found 4 persons guilty in the 2018 Rakbar Khan Lynching Case.
The court in the case observed and has acquitted one accused as the prosecution in the case failed to prove a case against him. Thus, the court sentenced all the four convicts a to 7-7 years in jail.
The court in the said case stated that the Additional District Judge Sunil Kumar Goyal convicted Naresh, Vijay, Paramjeet and Dharmendra as stated under section 41 i.e., the Punishment for wrongful restraint and the section 304 i.e., the Punishment for culpable homicide not amounting to murder of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. On the other hand, the court in the case gave the benefit of doubt to another accused Naval.
Therefore,
the court observed that Khan in 2018 was being beaten to death by a mob, purportedly comprising several Gaurakshak, on the suspicion that he was smuggling cattle.
However, the Aslam and Rakbar were on their way to their village in the Bharatpur district with cows wherein they allegedly lynched by a mob. Thus, Aslam somehow escaped after saving his life, Rakhbar was being thrashed brutally.
In the said case, the police reached the spot and took the injured Rakbar and the cows into custody and rushed Rakbar to the nearest Hospital, wherein he was being declared brought dead.
