JAIPUR: Under the Model Code of Conduct, politicians are no longer allowed to inaugurate or lay the foundation stones for any development projects. Therefore, on Monday morning, when politicians received information about the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct, they conducted various inaugurations and foundation stone-laying ceremonies in several places. Deputy Leader of Opposition Satish Poonia inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for various development projects in his Amer constituency, including Jahota, Kherwadi, Bilonchi, Chhapradi, Devka Harwada, and Khorashyamdas. Meanwhile, in Lal Kothi, Jaipur, the inauguration of a gas-based crematorium was conducted at Mokshadham by Savita Ranjeet Singh Bhandari on Saturday. In this event, Rajeev Aroda, President of the Rajasthan Small Industries Corporation and Chairman of the Jaipur Citizens Forum, along with other dignitaries, were also present. On this occasion, Aroda mentioned that this crematorium in Jaipur will be the first of its kind, where imported machines will be used for the cremation process.
