A man went to a master and started listing the problems in his life. “I have a wife who loves me only for the money that I have. Otherwise, there is no genuine affection.” The master kept on listening. “I have children who respect me but I know behind my back they don’t like me so much. Same goes for my friends and relatives.” Again, the master did not say anything. The man kept on listing issues regarding his health and work. After all the complaints were listed down the master said “not only this, eventually you will die or even lose all the people in your life to death.” The man was infuriated and said “I thought you are here to solve people’s problems you’re just adding on to my misery” and started storming out of the place. The master said from behind “you have listed 83 problems, but the real problem is the 84th one.” “84th problem?” Asked the man. “Yes the 84th problem is that you expect life to have no problems. A lot of people suffer only from this.” Life is a journey which will pose problems to you but those problems are not without a solution. If you are expecting a life without problems, is like expecting a sea without any waves. Instead of expecting that, find the ability to ride on those waves, find solutions to problems rather than running away. Once you solve the 84th problem, the solutions to the prior 83 will appear in life.
