Oftentimes, we tend to underestimate the impact of external factors on our mental state. For example, the influences from the movies we watch, the books we read, and even the people we spend time with. If we engage with these influences over an extended period, their effect can accumulate much like drops of water quickly filling up a bucket.
Some might believe that they possess unwavering strength against any influence. This thought process can be compared to a person strolling on a beach, thinking no grains of sand will stick to their feet, or someone wearing white clothing confidently walking through a coal mine and expecting to remain completely clean.
Our physical well-being is closely tied to the kind of the food we eat; our mental state is significantly shaped by the kind of people we surround ourselves with.  Beyond external factors, the most powerful influence comes from our own minds – how we interpret our thoughts and subsequently experience our emotions. If we’ve been living with inner negativity over an extended period of time, how can we expect it to not have an influence on us? During times when individuals are struggling with anxiety or depression, it’s crucial to remember that engaging in activities like reading inspirational books and connecting with positive individuals can be incredibly beneficial. These seemingly small influences should not be underestimated, as they play a vital role in contributing to a fulfilling life.
