According to Kashmir Zone Police, one terrorist was killed in a joint operation conducted by the Indian Army and Kupwara police on Sunday in Tangdhar Sector. According to the police, a terrorist was killed in a confrontation while attempting to cross the Line of Control in Tangdhar Sector’s Amrohi sector.
In this regard, the Kashmir Zone Police’s official Twitter account stated, “Army and Kupwara police in a joint operation foiled an infilitration bid by neutralising a terrorist on LoC in Amrohi area of Tangdhar Sector. Incriminating materials, arms and ammunition recovered.”
According to the police a search operation is underway and further information is awaited.
