Kate Middleton was seen in public for the first time post her chemotherapy treatment. She attended a church service along with her husband, Prince Williams as well as King Charles III and Queen Camilla near their Balmoral estate in Scotland. She was spotted in the passenger seat of a car driven by the Prince Of Wales. As for his attire, he opted for a navy blue suit with a matching tie. This event marked her return to public duties after a significant absence due to her cancer treatment.
The Princess Of Wales announced that she had completed the chemo treatment for an ‘undisclosed type of cancer’ on September 9, shortly after Buckingham Palace released news that King Charles III was also getting treatment of cancer. Kate expressed optimism about her recovery, noting that her journey to full health would be gradual and that she plans to participate in limited engagements through the end of the year.
“The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family,” Kate shared in a video. “Life as you know it can change in an instant, and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters. The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you. It brings a new perspective on everything.”
Previous Public Appearances:
Kate resumed her royal duties earlier this week. She held a private meeting with the team members from Kensington Palace and the Centre for Early Childhood at Windsor Castle since March. During her cancer treatment, the princess made two public appearances: In June, she participated in the Trooping the Colour military parade for King Charles’ birthday, and in July, she attended the men’s final at Wimbledon, where she received a standing ovation from the crowd.
