In a significant development, Deputy Commissioner Karnail Singh, stationed in Kapurthala, is under scrutiny by the State Home Department. The recommendation for disciplinary action has been made against D.C. Karnail Singh. It should be noted that allegations of illegal occupation of N.R.I. woman’s land with the assistance of Congress MLA Rana Gurjeet Singh have been levied against D.C. Karnail Singh.

The complaint about this matter has been filed by the brother of the N.R.I. woman with the Home Department. It has been reported that in addition to the Deputy Commissioner, allegations have also been made against S.D.M. Lal Vishwas and Patwari Hardeep Singh. The woman’s brother claims to have evidence, including records, of harassment by M.L.A. employees.

On the other hand, Deputy Commissioner Karnail Singh denies any involvement in the case, stating that he has no knowledge of any such matter. The issue revolves around the complaint sent to the Ministry of Home Affairs by Jalandhar resident Ramjeet Singh Ahluwalia alias Teenu, a resident of G.T.B. Nagar. In the complaint, he alleges that MLA Rana Gurjeet Singh initiated the formation of a trust a few days ago. However, the land in question belongs to his sister, with Khasra number 4915/4, while Rana Gurjeet Singh’s wife owns land with Khasra number 4915/1. He claims that both the land and the possession of it have been wrongfully taken.
