At least 10 schools in Kanpur received bomb threat emails on Wednesday, setting the city in panic. This incident took place amid several cities across India, including Delhi receiving threat emails.
The Kanpur police said that a case is being registered in this regard and the cyber cell is investigating the matter.
Recently, over 200 Delhi-NCR schools got bomb threat emails, causing widespread panic. The next day, the Delhi Police Commissioner’s email received a similar threat for a Nangloi school. After careful checks, the mail was declared fake.
