Bollywood actress Kalki Koechlin, who shares an amicable relationship with her ex-husband Anurag Kashyap, recently shared that they both took their own time separately post the divorce. In a conversation with Puja Talwar, the actress said, “It takes time. There is no denying that in the first few years after our divorce, we couldn’t be the kind of friends that we are today. We needed that separate time because it hurts to know about the other person’s relationship and things like that.”
Kalki said that she and Anurag took that time separately. She also mentioned that she took a lot of therapy, and now seven to eight years later, they are doing great and they get along well as friends.
In September 2019, the actress announced her pregnancy with her boyfriend, Guy Hershberg. Guy is an Israeli musician. On February 7, 2020, Kalki gave birth to their daughter via water birth. Meanwhile, on the professional front, Kalki will be seen in Goldfish as well as a movie titled Emma and Angel. Anurag’s directorial venture Kennedy was screened at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. He will be seen acting alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Haddi.
