Opposition leader Tika Ram Jully expressed sarcasm on Chief Minister Bhajan Lal on Friday, calling him helpless and clueless. He said, “The CM talks about fearing God. This means that the Chief Minister is helpless and has become clueless in front of the bureaucracy. Saying that one is afraid of God means portraying oneself as helpless.”
Tika Ram Jully said, “The BJP government is lax and always waits for signals from Delhi for every decision. An example of this is that the appointments of AG and AAG have not been made yet. This sends a clear message to the public that the BJP government in Rajasthan is entirely helpless and cannot make its decisions.”
Rajasthan Congress in-charge Sukhvinder Singh Randhawa, state president Govind Singh Dotasra, and opposition leader Tika Ram Jully reached Bikaner to discuss the consensus on the candidate for the Lok Sabha. Here, Congress leaders and workers were welcomed in the circuit house. Although most workers were seen when the three veteran leaders reached Bikaner.
Opposition leader Tika Ram Jully said, “The BJP always comes up with some emotional issues in every election. BJP can adopt any strategy to win elections, including misuse of ED and CBI. Just before the Lok Sabha elections, ED called Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren. But now the public understands and will not fall for his words.”
Since the announcement of the AC seat in Bikaner, the Congress’s hold has ended. After 2009, Congress has not been able to win here. Arjunram Meghwal has become a big headache for Congress in Bikaner. He continuously defeated Congress candidates three times. On Friday, three big Congress leaders discussed naming a candidate for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
We couldn’t take a stand in the assembly polls: Randhawa
The pain of defeat in the last election was expressed by Congress state in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa. He mentioned that he and PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasara were unable to take a stand in the elections, leading to their loss. Randhawa stated that the Congress party will heed the voice of every ordinary worker, and the party will emerge victorious in the Lok Sabha elections. The Congress’s Lok Sabha organisation dialogue program took place in Bikaner on Friday, where Randhawa shared these thoughts with the workers. Pradesh Congress President Govind Singh Dotasara expressed dissatisfaction with the non-attendance of officials, stating that the performance of both was not good. He emphasised that if officers do not attend such crucial programs, they are not needed in the party. Instructions were given to compile a list of such individuals and record their presence at the Pradesh Congress headquarters. Randhawa urged workers to come forward, stating that to strengthen Rahul Gandhi’s position in the Lok Sabha elections, workers need to be proactive.
