Jr NTR and Alia Bhatt have shared screen space in the 2022 historical epic *RRR* directed by SS Rajamouli, but beyond that professional relation, something else is special about Jr NTR for Alia. She was talking to Jr NTR and filmmaker Karan Johar recently when she shared how, during her very first discussion on baby names with Ranbir Kapoor, it happened at Jr NTR’s home in Hyderabad.
This connect started when Taarak, out of courtesy, attended the *Brahmastra* press meet in Hyderabad. I think I was fully pregnant then. He said, ‘Ya ya, we’ll do the event, then after that, you all have to come to my house for dinner.’ We had such a lovely evening on the terrace, chatting. That was the first time we spoke about possible baby names in front of everyone. Ranbir said, ‘If it is a girl, it will be this. If it is a boy, it will be this,” Alia recalled. Jr NTR added, “I started praying, I wish it was Raha. And finally, there she is (laughs).”
Alia Bhatt and Jr NTR also spoke about the moment how the situation changes once someone becomes a parent, as they looked at their professional lives. Jnr NTR said after Abhay was born, she shed her star personality and started looking for creatively fulfilling projects that would justify the time she was away from her son. Alia also claimed that things have changed in her thinking after Raha’s birth, citing that as an actor, one becomes self-centered, but now she is very invested in another person. She also shares how she felt her next film Jigra, talking about a sister protecting her brother, was just what she needed at that point in time, when she was very protective of her newborn daughter.
Jigra is set to release on 11th of October. The makers have announced the release date, which has been postponed further with Vasan Bala directing the film and Alia with Vedang Raina playing siblings in it. Alongside Manoj Pahwa, it is an escape thriller, co-produced by Alia’s and sister Shaheen Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. She will be seen not only in *Jigra* as she will also be a part of the *Alpha*, *Love & War*, and *Jee Le Zaraa*.
