Actor Josh O’Connor, renowned for his roles in TV series such as ‘Doctor Who’ and ‘Peaky Blinders’, is set to star alongside Emily Blunt in an untitled film from Steven Spielberg, Amblin Entertainment, and Universal, as reported by Deadline.
The ensemble cast also includes Colin Firth, Colman Domingo, and Eve Hewson. The film’s script is based on a story by Spielberg and his long-time collaborator David Koepp, with Kristie Macosko Krieger producing. While plot details remain under wraps, the makers have announced a release date of May 15, 2026, according to Deadline.

Steven Spielberg, a recipient of numerous accolades, is celebrated for directing iconic films such as ‘Jaws’, ‘Jurassic Park’, ‘A.I. Artificial Intelligence’, ‘Munich’, ‘Lincoln’, ‘Bridge of Spies’, ‘The Post’, and his semi-autobiographical drama ‘The Fabelmans’.
Josh O’Connor has an impressive filmography, including titles like ‘The Magnificent Eleven’, ‘Cinderella’, ‘The Program’, ‘Florence Foster Jenkins’, ‘God’s Own Country’, ‘Emma’, and ‘The Riot Club’.
