A minor boy was arrested on Monday for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl in Jharkhand.
According to the Khunti Superintendent of India Aman Kumar, a 16-year-old girl was raped in Jaiagarh village in Khunti district in Jharkhand.
Meanwhile, in a medical examination, the incident came to light when the girl was found four months pregnant.
Reportedly the girl was raped four times and on Monday on the complaint of the victim, the police arrested the accused and have been sent him to the remand home.
As per the victim’s statement, the boy came to meet the girl outside her school and took her with him, and raped her.
“A case of rape of a 16-year-old student of Class 10 has come to light in the Jariagarh area of Khunti. The accused belongs to another community. He is also a minor,” the SP said.
However further details into the matter are awaited.
