The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) executed a successful operation, freeing approximately 12 bighas of government land from encroachment in the Ecological Zone, Agra Road, Old Bagrana. The initiative included the demolition of seven illegally constructed shops intended for commercial purposes in the same area and four bighas of agricultural land under private ownership in the Ecological Zone, village Lalbas.
An emerging illegal colony on government land faced immediate demolition, ensuring the prevention of further unauthorized construction. Moreover, two new illegal colonies established on around six bighas of private agricultural land in the ecological zone were also dismantled at the initial stages.
Mr. Dharmendra Kumar Yadav, Chief Controller of Enforcement, highlighted the successful operation. Khasra No. 10, Agra Road, Old Bagrana, located in the ecological zone under Zone-10A, witnessed the removal of encroachments, including illegal constructions like boundary walls and structures of houses under construction.
In the Lalbas Nai ki Thadi area of Jaipur district, a 4-bigha privately-owned agricultural land that was wrongfully included in government land was rectified, and the land was levelled. The JDA’s Enforcement Squad, acting on information about the establishment of a new illegal colony, thwarted attempts by demolishing six houses, a boundary wall, and other illegal constructions.
Previously, the JDA had levelled land by demolishing an illegal colony on four bighas of private agricultural land in Nai Ki Thadi village, Lalbas district, Jaipur, situated in the ecological zone under Zone-10A. The authority also prevented the establishment of a new illegal colony named ‘Gopi Nagar.’
In the same region, the enforcement squad levelled the land in a previously demolished illegal colony on 2 bighas of private agricultural land and curbed the development of a new illegal colony named ‘Imran Nagar.’
