Etihad Airways earns third consecutive five-star rating at APEX Awards

The Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) has rated Etihad Airways as a Five-Star Global Airline for the third consecutive year. At the APEX Awards Ceremony in Long Beach, California, the airline’s excellence was recognized with a rating. The world’s top-rated travel planning app, TripIt from Concur, worked with APEX to gather impartial, third-party passenger feedback and insights for the APEX Five Star Airline Awards.

Over 600 airlines’ passengers from around the world rated nearly one million flights on a five-star scale for the 2024 Awards. An expert external auditing firm certifies the awards independently. “Our guests are at the heart of everything we do, and we are immensely proud to retain our Five-Star rating for the third year in a row, thanks to their ratings and feedback,” said Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad, in response to the recognition from APEX. We strive to deliver world-class service for our guests, inspired by the traditional Emirati hospitality of our home in Abu Dhabi, and we will continue to push the boundaries of the industry even higher.”

The award comes as Etihad gears up to introduce flights to three new cities: Dusseldorf on September 28, Copenhagen on September 29, and Osaka on October 1. In order to make travel even more convenient, Etihad’s network expansion has also increased flight frequencies on a number of routes throughout Europe and Asia.
