Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer, Member of the Legislative Assembly of Punjab, a minister in the Aam Aadmi Party’s government, is going to be one of the few ministers who are entering into the bonds of marriage. Before this, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains got married after forming the government. After Meeth Hayer, only Anmol Gagan Mann from Bhagwant Mann’s cabinet is left, who is not yet married. So far, three ministers were unmarried.
Meet Hayer, who is currently also the minister for water resources department, will have his wedding ceremonies on November 7 and 8. Meeth Hayer is getting married to Dr. Gurveen Kaur from Meerut. Dr. Gurveen Kaur’s father, Bhupinder Singh, was recently appointed as the Chief by the Indian Olympic Association for the Asian Games. After the India-Pakistan partition, Bhupinder Singh Bajwa’s family settled in Meerut. Dr. Gurveen Kaur is a radiologist. It is said by Meeth Hayer’s close associates that the ceremony will be kept simple. Only family members and close friends have been invited to the wedding and reception.
