The dense fog has had a particularly negative impact on transportation, with school buses and vehicles encountering difficulties in the harsh winter conditions. Drivers are dealing with treacherous road conditions, and residents have requested special traffic arrangements for children. Fog has limited visibility to around 50 feet in the early morning hours, according to tourists.

The Srinagar Meteorological Centre has issued an advisory advising school-aged children and the elderly to wear face masks in foggy weather conditions during the morning and evening hours. On Monday, the maximum temperature in Srinagar was 16 degrees Celsius, with clouds covering the city.

Fog, a weather condition characterized by the formation of a thick cloud close to the land or sea, significantly reduces visibility, making driving difficult. Authorities are emphasizing precautions and safety measures for residents during this period of dense fog.
