Former Himachal Pradesh CM Jai Ram Thakur’s Visit to Jammu

Former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Mr. Jai Ram Thakur, who also serves as the Leader of the Opposition in the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly, made a private visit to Jammu today. Accompanied by his wife, he paid his respects at the historic Raghunath Mandir, a prominent heritage site.
Upon his arrival at Jammu Airport, Mr. Thakur received a warm welcome from senior BJP leaders, including Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma, Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation Rajinder Sharma, Deputy Mayor Baldev Billawaria, Dr. Devender Manyal, Priya Sethi, Dharamveer Singh Jamwal, Ashok Singh Manhas, Surinder Singh Bunty, S. Sucha Singh, Ajay Gupta, Sanjay Gupta, and others.
After arriving, Mr. Thakur proceeded to the ancient Raghunath Mandir, where he offered prayers for peace and prosperity in the region, as well as the well-being of its people.
Accompanied by senior party leaders, Mr. Jai Ram Thakur later visited the popular Balaji Tirupati Temple located in the city’s outskirts and participated in religious ceremonies.
He also had the opportunity to interact with devotees from various parts of the country, many of whom visit the temple after completing a pilgrimage to the holy cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi on the Trikuta Hills in Katra.
Mr. Thakur made a visit to the BJP headquarters in Jammu, where he engaged with party workers and senior functionaries.
Prior to concluding his visit, he also paid a visit to the residence of Mr. Subash Jandyal in Mohalla Narayana, Kachi Chawani, an old part of Jammu City.
