The police in the Kekadi district of Sarwar, Rajasthan, have cracked a murder case involving the brutal beating and destruction of evidence, leading to the arrest of the victim’s wife and two others within 12 hours. Rajkumar Gupta, the District Police Chief, stated in a press conference that the investigation began on Sunday morning when the body of a young man was found near Naikhera.
During the initial stages of the investigation, the victim was identified as Narayan Kanjar, son of Pratap Kanjar, a resident of Mehendwas in the Tonk district. In response to a report filed by the victim’s brother Dharmaraj, the police initiated an inquiry against Narayan’s wife, her brothers, and others.
Considering the gravity of the case, District Police Chief Rajkumar Gupta instructed the formation of a special team under the supervision of Police Deputy Chief Sanjay Singh Champawat to apprehend the suspects. The police team promptly conducted investigations and arrested the victim’s wife, identified as Panvati alias Pana, and her brothers Banwari Kanjar and Himmat Singh alias Himmatiyan Kanjar, residents of Pratapura in the Sarwad district. The police also seized the motorcycle used in the crime.
