Today, MLA Vijaypal Mirdha embarked on a two-day visit to his constituency. During the visit, a public interaction event was organized at the Government Senior Secondary School in Degana, along with a mobile distribution program under the Indira Gandhi Smartphone Scheme. MLA Vijaypal Mirdha, Congress City President Giridhari Mundel, District Congress Secretary Prakash Kunkana, Congress District Secretary Manshi Ram Khilery, and Youth Leader Parsa Ram Choyal, along with other representatives and officials, participated in the program, distributing smartphones to more than 100 women.
MLA Mirdha stated that the state government is diligently working to fulfil every promise made to the people. The decisions taken by the state government are continually making history in the interest of the public. He mentioned that the Indira Gandhi Smartphone Scheme will be a significant means of empowering women. Through this scheme, almost every woman in the state will have a mobile phone. School-going girls will also benefit from having mobiles, which will help them in their studies. With internet access, girls will be able to clear their doubts in various subjects. Furthermore, women will no longer have to depend on others for phones.
MLA Mirdha informed that in the first phase of the welfare scheme, approximately 4 million women in the state have been included. He said, “As soon as the smartphones were handed over to the beneficiaries, their faces lit up with joy.” The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to MLA Mirdha and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
The program was addressed by subdivision officer Pankaj Gadhwala, development officer Nanak Ram Sevda, and municipal officer in charge Pintu Lal Jat. They explained in detail the government’s welfare programs and motivated the public to take full advantage of these schemes. The event was hosted by Advocate Sushil Jhujhariya.
The selection interviews for the Mahatma Gandhi Inspirational Candidates and document verification for the third day were also held, with a large crowd of unemployed individuals participating. The selection process for the inspirational candidates will continue until September 9th.
