The newly established BJP government in Rajasthan is completely led by the central government. But if we talk about BJP giving 33 percent reservation to women in Assemblies and Lok Sabha in real sense, then nothing like this was seen in the democracy of Rajasthan. Because BJP has given ministerial posts to only two women in Rajasthan. BJP has made Diya Kumari the Deputy Chief Minister. Manju Baghmar has been made Minister of State.
However, in the democracy of Rajasthan, a woman Deputy Prime Minister was made a big post. But BJP, which has promised 33 percent reservation, is not giving any comfort to women. Before the formation of the cabinet, names of many women MLAs were in discussion. But women voters may have played the most important role in the victory of the Rajasthan government. But women have not been given the right opportunity to take charge of democracy.
The names of these women remained in discussions
There were many prominent faces of Rajasthan in the race for cabinet. These included the names of Anita Bhadel, Nauksham Chaudhary, Kalpana Devi, Siddhi Kumari and Deepti Kiran Maheshwari. But the party has made only Manju Baghmar a minister. This time nine women have become MLAs from BJP. If we talk about the previous Congress government, Mamta Bhupesh, Zahida Khan and Shakuntala Rawat were made ministers. Krishna Poonia was given the status of Minister of State. Earlier, Kiran Maheshwari and Anita Bhadel were made ministers in the Vasundhara government. This time, MLA Anita Bhadel lagging behind in the race is also surprising.
Currently the posts of five ministers are vacant
The number of assembly seats in Rajasthan is 200. In this context, 30 ministers can be made. So far, 25 ministers have been appointed including the Chief Minister and two Deputy Chief Ministers. In such a situation, five posts are still vacant. It is expected that one or two of these posts will be given to women.
When and how many women MLAs were made in Rajasthan:
