Rajasthan’s infamous Nasir-Junaid murder case’s main suspect, Monu Mansar, was arrested by the Haryana police on Tuesday. Subsequently, the Rajasthan police apprehended the suspect on a production warrant. He was presented in court, and the judge remanded Monu Mansar to two days of police custody. Due to security reasons, the court proceedings took place at the Kamann police station.
According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Brijesh Jyoti Upadhyay of Dholpur, the primary suspect in the Nasir-Junaid murder case was arrested by the Haryana police on Tuesday, and soon after, a production warrant was issued for his arrest by the Rajasthan police. Monu Mansar was apprehended amid tight security and produced before the court, which subsequently sent him to two days of police custody. The police will now question the suspect regarding his involvement in the Nasir and Junaid murder case.
It is worth noting that on the night of February 13, 2023, the alleged perpetrators had set up checkpoints near the Alwar-Nuh border in an attempt to apprehend Nasir and Junaid from the Mewat region of Bharatpur. However, they were unable to intercept any vehicles that night. Subsequently, on the night of February 14 and the morning of February 15, a team from Haryana, along with a team from Nuh, converged in Nuh. Three teams came together, and they allegedly abducted Nasir and Junaid, with suspicions of torture and assault. The police are also investigating the movement of vehicles involved in the abduction. The police will now conduct further inquiries into the Nasir and Junaid murder case.
