Martyr Farman Khan receives State Honour and Military Salute

Today, martyr Farman Khan, a resident of Gram Sardarpura Kalan in the Deedwana district, who sacrificed his life during an army patrol in Arunachal Pradesh, was given a final farewell with full state honours. During this tribute, several prominent leaders, officials, CRPF officers, and soldiers paid their respects by offering floral wreaths and heartfelt condolences.

This morning, the mortal remains of the martyr were brought to his ancestral village, Sardarpura Kalan, by an army vehicle, which brought mourning to the village. When the martyr’s body arrived home, his relatives were overwhelmed with grief. The children were also inconsolable. The martyr’s brothers, Anwar Khan and Rizwan Khan, had tears in their eyes. The martyr’s wife, Arju Bano, and his mother, Nani Bano, were devastated upon seeing the body, and their relatives consoled them.

Thousands of people participated in the martyr’s final journey. The mortal remains of the martyr, wrapped in tricolour, received floral tributes at various places along the way. Many people were chanting slogans in honor of the martyr. During the burial of the martyr, several dignitaries including MLA Chetan Dudi, BJP leader Jitendra Singh Jodha, Colonel Rajendra Singh from the Army, senior police and administrative officers, Subedar Roshan Khan, Captain Mahboob Khan, Additional District Collector Shyam Verma, ASP Yogendra Fauzdar, DSP Dharam Puniya, and many other officials were present and offered floral wreaths on the martyr’s mortal remains. Later, the soldiers paid their respects to the martyr with a guard of honor and a salute with full state honour. During this ceremony, the funeral prayer (Namaz-e-Janaza) was offered, and the martyr was laid to rest with military honors.
