JDA and Nagar NIGAM collaborate for anti-encroachment drive

In the capital city, the Jaipur Development Authority and the Greater and Heritage Nagar Nigam will collectively take joint action against unauthorised construction along with encroachments. A meeting was organised on Wednesday in the JDA’s contemplation hall under the chairmanship of JDA Commissioner Dr. Jogaram.
During this, officials of Greater and Heritage Nagar Nigam were also present. In the meeting, it was decided that a joint team of JDA and Nagar Nigam Greater Heritage would be formed from January 9 to take action against unauthorised constructions and encroachments.
Senior officials, including Nagar Nigam Greater Commissioner Babu Lal Goyal, Nagar Nigam Heritage Commissioner Rajendra Singh, JDA Secretary Nalini Kathotiya, and Chief Transportation Officer Dharmendra Yadav, were present at the meeting.
In the meeting, it was decided to form a joint team of JDA and Nagar Nigam Greater Heritage from January 9 to take action against unauthorised constructions and encroachments. The action taken against permanent and temporary unauthorised constructions and encroachments in the city will be reviewed every 15 days by the formed joint team. This action will be taken after the survey. The survey team will include the Chief Transportation Officer of JDA and the officers of the vigilance branch of Nagar Nigam Greater Heritage.
Along with this, records of government land or properties will be made, and action will be taken against encroachments based on priority.
