The 24th annual conference of the Indian Society of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (ISVIR) will be held in Jaipur from January 11. Interventional radiologists from 23 countries will participate in the four-day medical workshop being held at Fair Mount Hotel, Delhi Road. He will also share his experiences with advanced technology in the field of interventional radiology.
Various talk sessions and workshops will be organised in the seminar. According to experts, interventional radiology provides any treatment to cure various diseases like cancer, prevent bleeding and other diseases and works better as an alternative to surgery. Interventional radiology techniques include cardiovascular, hepato-biliary, genital-urinary, neurological, abdominal and musculoskeletal systems.
ISVIR President Dr. Suyash Kulkarni said that top interventional radiologists from all over the world are participating in the seminar. Dr. Maxim Itkin coming from the United States of America will also express his views in the workshop. Dr. Sanjeev Kalwa from the USA, who specializes in minimally invasive procedures for the treatment of liver cancer, will also be present. Dr. Kalwa will share his experiences with advanced imaging and histotripsy in hypertension.
