Gang Rape Case: Woman Allegedly Abducted and Raped for 10 Days

In a shocking incident in the capital city of Jaipur, a case of gang rape has come to light. According to the police, a married woman was allegedly kidnapped and held captive by two men for ten days in a room. The incident occurred on August 13th when the woman received a call from an acquaintance, Mohan Lal, claiming that her father was critically ill.
He asked her to meet him and did not reveal his true intentions. Subsequently, without informing anyone, the woman rushed to meet him, believing her father’s health was in critical condition. On her way, the accused, Mohan Lal, met her on a bike and took her to a hospital.
He lured her by pretending to be taking her to the hospital to see her ailing father. During the journey, he repeatedly asked her different questions and provided evasive answers. Finally, he took her to Gorakhpur, where he locked her in a room and allegedly raped her forcefully after she resisted and screamed. He also gagged her by stuffing cloth into her mouth.
She was held captive in the room for about ten days, during which she faced physical and sexual assault. On August 22nd, Mohan Lal’s brother, Lakhna Lal, also arrived at the location, after which both brothers allegedly sexually assaulted her.
The victim was eventually brought to Jaipur by the police. Her family had filed a missing person report at the Bassi police station on August 13th when she suddenly disappeared. The police were able to locate her in Gorakhpur, and upon her return to Jaipur, she narrated her harrowing ordeal to her family members.
The Bassi police station has registered an FIR based on the victim’s complaint, and Assistant Commissioner of Police Fulchand Meena is leading the investigation.
