Sujangarh churu rajasthan Tal Chhapar Sanctuary is situated in Chhapar village in Sujangarh tehsil of Churu district of Rajasthan, which is famous for black deer and different types of beautiful birds.

The century is named after this Chhapar village. The sanctuary echoes with the chirping of birds. Tourists gather here to see black deer and birds from India and abroad.

The long list of guest birds flying from thousands of kilometers since the month of September is as follows (Kuranja), Common Crane, Red Sea Duck, Common Shell Duck, Flamingo, Mallard, Barheaded Geese, Buzzard, Eagle, Owl and Vulture can be seen.
Apart from these, some rare species of birds can also be seen and captured on camera.

Among these, the Yellow Eyed Pigeon, Baima Quet Lark, Water Pipit, Red Tailed Wheatear, Stolikaj, Sociable Leapwing, Eurasian Sky Lark and Lesser Castrol are special.

The specialty of this sanctuary is its biodiversity and ample food availability. Grasslands and a few trees are visible far and wide in the sanctuary. In this regard, Ranger Umesh Bagotia said that birds start coming here in the month of September and stay here throughout the winter.

What is the main food of blackbucks?
A special kind of grass is found in Tal Chhapar which is called Mothia in the local language. Which means pearl in Hindi. The seeds of this grass are exactly like pearls in appearance. which is the favorite food of blackbucks. These days, tourists from far and wide continue to come here to see the Tal Chhapar Century, the movement of birds and the jumping of deer.
