After prominent Congress leader Jyoti Mirdha, 16 significant individuals joined the BJP on Wednesday. Among these are former legislators, high-ranking officials from various communities, and some leaders who switched from the BSP to the Bharatiya Janata Party. The BJP’s joining committee in Rajasthan has been consistently bringing influential figures into the party.
During an event at the party headquarters, State In-charge Arun Singh stated that the people of Rajasthan are tired of the Congress, and they have made up their minds to bid farewell to the party. Moreover, people have set their hearts on ensuring that Congress does not return to power for the next 20 years.
Arun Singh emphasized that the BJP’s family is continuously growing, indicating that the party is poised for a historic victory in the 2023 state assembly elections in Rajasthan and is set to win all parliamentary seats in the 2024 general elections. He mentioned that Rajasthan ranks number one under Congress rule in crimes against women and corruption. He said, “Rajasthan also has the highest petrol and diesel prices in the country. On all parameters of misrule, the Congress government ranks at the top.”
He mentioned that leaders are joining the BJP after being influenced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policies. Arun Singh stated that under the Congress government, Rajasthan is witnessing a jungle raj. Issues like paper leaks are causing distress among the people, and farmers are suffering.
Ministers accuse Congress of corruption
During the joining program, BJP State President CP Joshi said that ministers in the Congress government have accused their government of corruption. He stated that in this government, 50 per cent of the funds allocated are not utilized. He congratulated all the leaders who joined the BJP.

Among the leaders who joined the BJP are Kishanaram Nai, a three-time MLA from Sriganganagar, retired Additional Commissioner Rajeev Kumar Verma, retired RAS officer Kashiram Chauhan, Chotelal Saini, State President of the Mali community from Gangapur City, Sanjeev Gahlot, former NSUI President from Dholpur, Biradichand Sharma, National President of the All India Haryana Gaur Brahmin Mahasabha, Meenu Kanwar Rathore, the head of Congress from Masuda, Mukul Choudhary, wife of IPS Pankaj Choudhary, Narayan Ram Beda, former MLA from Bhopalgarh, Pramila Beda, District Councilor from Jodhpur, Dhaneshwar Ahari from Dungarpur, Madhubala Mahajan from Bhilwara, Durgesh Sharma from Sirohi, Vaibhav Chashta, ABVP activist, Sandeep Sharma, and retired Assistant Account Officer Lokesh Sharma have also joined the BJP.
