Condolences pour in for victims of Phalodi bus mishap

Four people died and 24 were injured when a private bus overturned in Phalodi carrying pilgrims returning from Ramdevra around 3.30 pm. The visitors were coming from Ramdevra (Jaisalmer) towards Phalodi by bus. The accident happened in Kalra village of Phalodi police station area. Several political leaders and common people of Rajasthan have expressed their condolences on this incident.
There was chaos at the spot after the accident. The injured were sent to Phalodi District Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. After getting information about the incident, Additional SP Saurabh Tiwari and SDM Archana Vyas also reached the hospital. Most of the passengers boarding the bus are from Osian and Phalodi areas.
At around 3.30 pm, when the bus was returning from Ramdevra, the driver could not control the bus, as it is said that the bus was travelling at very high speed, due to which the accident happened when it overturned on one side.
Around 24 passengers have been injured in the accident. At present, it cannot be estimated how many people were on the bus, but according to the information given by the sources, the bus was packed with passengers.
SP Hanuman Prasad said, “The bus was at high speed. A car was moving in front of the bus near Kalra village. Meanwhile, the bus driver could not control the speed and hit the car moving ahead. Due to this the bus went out of control and went off the road and collided with a tree. The bus overturned after hitting a tree.”
Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat wrote, “I am saddened by the news of the accident in Phalodi of a private bus coming from Ramdevra. We have heartfelt condolences to the families of the citizens who unfortunately died, praying for the peace of their souls. May they have the strength to bear this blow. The administration should not leave any stone unturned in the treatment of the injured. All possible assistance should be provided to the victims. Om Shanti.”
