BJP hails interim budget, CITES women empowerment and health

Bharatiya Janata Party described the interim budget as exceptional and good for all sections of society. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has stated that the Central Interim Budget is the budget of the common people, which will shape the future of every individual in India.
On Thursday, in his reaction to the Central Interim Budget, CM Bhajan Lal said that in the last 10 years, unprecedented changes have occurred in the Indian economy. Under the leadership of PM Modi, around 25 crore people have come out of poverty. Concerns about food have been eliminated, and free food has been provided to more than 80 crore people. Corruption and nepotism have been eradicated.
He mentioned that under the PM Swannidhi Yojana, 78 lakh street vendors have been provided loan assistance, and among them, a total of 2.3 lakh have received the loan for the third time. The Chief Minister said that PM Modi had said that in India, there are four castes – the poor, women, youth, and farmers. Addressing their needs, aspirations, and well-being is the top priority of the central government.
BJP State President CP Joshi, while reacting on the budget, said, “The interim budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is excellent and powerful and is and the betterment of all sections of the society including farmers, youth and women. Besides, it is crafted for the poor to make them self-reliant and empowered.”
He said, “The Modi government is moving in the direction of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. The budget presents a detailed roadmap towards the goal of a developed India by 2047. Joshi said that the needs and aspirations of poor, women and young farmers are top priority. Efforts are being made to bring changes in the lives of common people and work has also been done to empower the youth.”
Special attention has been given to every category: Dy CM Diya Kumari
Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari said, “In the budget, special focus has been laid on youth, women, deprived people and food providers. The announcement of HPV vaccination for women was historic.”
She claimed that this would help in preventing cervical cancer in women. Talking about the broadening the scope of the Ayushman Bharat Scheme and including Asha and Anganwadi workers, and that it would be a major leap in the direction of women empowerment.
“The target set in the budget to make three crore women Lakhpati Didi through self-help groups will prove to be a milestone in the direction of women empowerment,” she added.
Promoting electric vehicles will reduce pollution: Dilawar
Education Minister Madan Dilawar said that promoting electric vehicles in the budget will curb pollution. The construction of three new rail corridors will boost economic development.
He said, “The announcement regarding the formation of a committee regarding population growth, is essential in prevailing circumstances. Apart from this, an interest-free loan of Rs 75,000 crore set for the states and a target of spending up to 11 per cent would take the country to new heights of development.”
Budget was excellent from health point of view: Khinvsar
Medical Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar said that the budget gave importance to the health sector as well. The decision to while giving importance to the health in the budget, to form a committee for the establishment of new medical colleges is laudable.
He further added, “Emphasis has been laid on encouraging vaccination of girls aged 9 to 14 years and improving maternal and child health schemes for complete prevention of cervical cancer. At the same time, to accelerate the upgradation of Anganwadi centres under Nutrition 2.0 and Anganwadi Centers for better nutrition and development of infants, to speed up vaccination in the country through the newly created U-WIN platform and Indradhanush program and to provide Ayushman to all Asha and Anganwadi workers.
