On Monday, the Election Commission announced elections in four poll-bound states, including Rajasthan. Elections are near in Rajasthan and now both the parties will be seen trying their best for votes. On one hand, the Congress government is claiming to break the five-year chain government change, while on the other hand, the BJP also seems quite confident.
BJP state president CP Joshi commented on the imposition of the Code of Conduct, saying, “The public has counted each day. On election day, gods will rise, and the demon-like Congress government will be uprooted.”
BJP says that the people of the Rajasthan government want a double-engine government. In this hour of allegations and counter-allegations, the Congress government has been playing on the safe side. The Chief Minister worked on budget announcements at a rapid pace. By making a maximum number of announcements in a single year, the Congress has increased the difficulties of the BJP in the elections.
The BJP government has started taking revenge on Congress. BJP representatives have complained about Congress to the Election Commission. Describing Congress as useless, the BJP has demanded the removal of the Chief Minister’s photographs from all the schemes. On behalf of the party, it has been said that the photo of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is still visible on the phones distributed by the Congress government under the free mobile scheme, and the Commission should take action to remove it. A controversy regarding the photo of the Chief Minister on food packets has also taken a strong form. If photographs are not found in the food packets, then this scheme may have to be discontinued as per the orders of the Election Commission. In such a situation, many other schemes will be affected by the decision of the Election Commission. In addition to this, voters may be unhappy with this decision regarding the state government.
