The Deputy Chief Minister, Premchand Bairwa, recently revealed the poster for the 15th AU Jaipur Marathon and extended congratulations to the organisers for promoting fitness-related events. Scheduled for February 4, the marathon is organised by the World Trade Park and Culture Youth Organisation, with preparations in full swing.
Registration and training sessions have commenced, and AU Jaipur Marathon organiser Pandit Suresh Mishra was present at the poster unveiling.
The upcoming AU Jaipur Marathon holds special significance as runner Pradeep Yadav aims to etch his name in the Guinness World Records. Planning to set a record by running barefoot for 21 consecutive days, Pradeep will undertake this endeavour from 7 am on January 21, showcasing his endurance and determination.
In addition to the poster unveiling, a training camp kickoff ceremony was held last Sunday, featuring over 100 runners. Participants ran from the Assembly to Statue Circle, emphasising the importance of good fitness.
